Preliminary work

Remove main headlight. -> 941519 Removing and installing headlights - section on "Removing" 94151900 Removing and installing main headlight

Removing main headlight lid

1. Unscrew the four fastening screws -1- on the lid.

2. Release the lid at one attachment point at the top and two at the bottom -a- and remove it from the main headlight.

Installation position





1. Unscrew bayonet lock for halogen bulb anti-clockwise.

2. Unclip electric connector -a- and disconnect it.

CAUTION

Danger of injury! Danger of material damage if bulbs are used or handled incorrectly!

-> When installed, the headlight has a high voltage.
-> Only bulbs specified in the bulb table may be used!
-> Bulbs with a higher wattage may damage the bulb housing!
-> To prevent short circuits, the load in question must be switched off when changing bulbs!
-> New bulbs must be clean and free of grease. Therefore, never touch bulbs with your bare hands! To change the bulbs, use a cloth or soft paper.
-> Observe the safety instructions when replacing a bulb in a Bi-Xenon headlight.
-> In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.

1. Connect electric connector to the halogen bulb until it engages securely.

2. Slide halogen bulb into the headlight and lock it with the bayonet lock.

1. Position lid on main headlight and press into place, making sure that the lid engages at one attachment point at the top and at two attachment points at the bottom.

2. Screw in the four fastening screws -1- for the lid.

Subsequent work

Install main headlight. -> 941519 Removing and installing headlights - section on "Installing" 94151900 Removing and installing main headlight

Carry out functional check of headlights.
