Technical values





Preliminary work

Remove back seat cushion. => 745719 Removing and installing back seat cushion - section on "Removing"

Removing rear backrest

1. Press out cover -1- with a screwdriver.





Loosening outer backrest

2. Unscrew fastening screw -2-.
3. Press cover -1- out to the front.





Loosening inner backrest

4. Unscrew fastening screw -2-.
5. Release backrest -1- , lift it out of the mounting saddle -2- ( -arrow A- ) and then pull it out of the bearing axle -3- ( -arrow B- ).





Removing backrest

Installing rear backrest

1. Insert backrest -1- into the bearing axle -3- ( -arrow A- ) and engage in the mounting saddle -2- ( -arrow B- ).





Installing backrest

2. Secure bearing axle -3- with the fastening screw -2-. Tightening torque => Tightening torque: 5.6 Nm (4 ftlb.)





Securing backrest on the inside

3. Press in cover -1-.
4. Lock backrest, align it and screw in fastening screw -2- on the outer bearing -3-. Tightening torque => Tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)

5. Press in cover -1-.

Subsequent work

Install back seat cushion. => 745719 Removing and installing back seat cushion - section on "Installing"
