Preliminary work

1. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
2. Remove cover for suction fan and disconnect suction fan from the cover. -> 741519 Removing and installing cover for suction fan - section on "Removing" 741519 Removing and installing cover for suction fan for backrest (air-conditioned comfort seat)

Installation position of suction fan for backrest surface

1. Turn suction fan for backrest surface clockwise -arrow A- until the suction fan for the backrest surface is released. Counter at the air duct -B- while doing this.

2. Remove suction fan for backrest surface from the air duct -arrow B-.

Installing suction fan for backrest surface

1. Check rubber mounting -1- for damage and replace it if necessary.

Information

Ensure that the suction fan is installed at the correct position!

2. Insert suction fan for backrest surface into the air duct -arrow A- , press it in and turn anti-clockwise until the suction fan for the backrest surface is fully locked in the air duct.

Subsequent work

1. Fit suction fan on the cover and install cover for suction fan. -> 741519 Removing and installing cover for suction fan - section on "Installing" 741519 Removing and installing cover for suction fan for backrest (air-conditioned comfort seat)
2. Check that the suction fan is functioning correctly.
