Removing recirculating air valve

Information

- The procedure for removing and installing the recirculating air valve is described using cylinder bank 1-3 as an example.

- The recirculating air valve for cylinder bank 4-6 is removed and installed in the same way.

1. Loosen spring band clamps -2- and pull off the recirculating air valve.

1.1. Cut open the clamp -1- and pull off the vacuum hose.
2. Remove the recirculating air valve.

Installing recirculating air valve

Information

- The procedure for removing and installing the recirculating air valve is described using cylinder bank 1-3 as an example.

- The recirculating air valve for cylinder bank 4-6 is removed and installed in the same way.

1. Attach the vacuum hose to the recirculating air valve and secure with a new clamp.
2. Insert recirculating air valve and fasten spring band clamps -2-.
