Preliminary work

Detach belt fitting at the seat. -> 691119 Removing and installing front three-point belt - section on "Removing" 691119 Removing and installing front three-point belt

Removing B-pillar trim

Information

- To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

1. Unclip B-pillar trim -1- out of the door seal underneath at the sides -A-.





Removing B-pillar trim

2. Unclip clips -circles- from the bottom upwards and swivel out trim -B-.
3. Take out B-pillar trim -1- in downward direction.
4. Guide seat belt through the belt adjustment guide -2-.

Installing B-pillar trim

Information

- Check that all the fastening clips are positioned fully and correctly.

- Check that all the fastening clips are not bent or broken.

- Replace damaged or missing clips with new ones.

The B-pillar trim is installed in reverse order to removal.

Subsequent work
