Removing C-pillar trim

1. Slide rear seat bench forward.
2. Unscrew fastening screw for the seat belt -1-.
Tools: Open-end/ring wrench insert Nr.98-1 Pos.1 and special inserts Nr.170

3. Unclip C-pillar trim panel from the C-pillar at the marked areas -circles-. To do this, raise the bottom of the trim panel -A- slightly and lever out the fastening clips.

Installing C-pillar trim

1. The C-pillar trim is installed in reverse order to removal.

Information

Always replace the fastening screws on the three-point seat belt. The micro-self-locking screws must not be treated (e.g. greased) or loosened and then screwed on again.

2. Tighten fastening screw for seat belt to => Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.).
