Removing light in rear-view mirror

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.





Installation position

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

1. Push the plug connection -3- out of the holder -1- in the lower part of the housing -2- in the direction of the arrow.

2. Release the plug connection -3- and pull it off -a- ( -B- ).

3. Remove lower part of housing. -> 667919 Removing and installing housing for rear-view mirror - section on "Removing" 667919 Removing and installing housing for rearview mirror
4. Press the light out of the lower part of the housing -arrow-.

5. Pull the bulb socket off the light housing -arrow A-.

6. Remove the bulb from the bulb socket -arrow B-.

Installing

Installing light in rear-view mirror

Information

- When inserting bulb holder, ensure that the marking -Arrow C- is opposite the locking tab -Arrow D-.





Installing light bulb for door mirror

1. Insert the bulb into the bulb socket -arrow A-

2. Insert the bulb socket into the light housing -arrow B-.
3. Press the light into the mirror housing -arrow- until the locks engage securely in the lower part of the housing.

5. Plug in plug connection -3- ( -arrow- ) until the connector engages securely.

6. Slide the plug connection -3- into the holder -1-.
