Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

1. Move front seat to the rearmost position.
2. Press in expansion rivet pins -1- and pull out the expansion rivets.

3. Remove cover for backrest at the sides -2-.

- To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

1. Loosen the two top fixing clips -2- on the backrest cover -1- ( -A- ).

2. Pull cover for backrest -1- up out of the bracket -3- ( -B- ).

Information

The expansion rivets must be replaced during installation and must not be re-used.

1. The cover for the backrest at the sides is installed in reverse order to removal.

1. The cover for the rear backrest is installed in reverse order to removal.
