Information
Before removing the motor, move the lumbar support to the middle in order to take the strain off the cable. If it is not possible to disengage the cable when the lumbar support is in the top position or if it is blocked, the cable may have to be cut.
1. Release electric plug connection -arrow a- and unplug it -arrow A-.

2. Remove the cable from the bracket -arrow-.

3. Remove the cable sleeves from the brackets -arrows-.

4. Disengage the cable at the lumbar support -arrow A- and then disengage the cable from the brackets -arrow B-.

5. Bore out blind rivets -arrows- and remove motor for lumbar support adjustment together with the holder.

Removing motor for lumbar curvature
1. Release electric plug connection -arrow a- and unplug it -arrow A-.

2. Disengage cable sleeve for lumbar curvature by pulling it up out of the guide -arrow A- and then disengage the cable at the side -arrow B-.

3. Disengage cable. To do this, slide the cable nipple up and out -arrow A- and pull the cable at the side out of the bracket -arrow B-.

4. Remove the deflection roller -1- together with the cable completely in a downward direction.

5. Bore out blind rivets -arrows- and remove motor for lumbar curvature together with the holder.

Installing motor for lumbar support adjustment
1. Install motor for lumbar support adjustment with holder and secure to the backrest frame with blind rivets -arrows-.

2. Engage the cable sleeve at the bracket -arrows- for the lumbar support.

3. Engage operating cable with spring in the lumbar support -arrow-.

4. Engage the cable sleeve in the brackets.

5. Engage the operating cable in the bracket -arrows-.

6. Plug in electric plug connection on the motor for lumbar support adjustment -arrow - until the lock engages securely.

Installing motor for lumbar curvature
1. Install motor for lumbar curvature with holder and secure to the backrest frame with blind rivets -arrows-.

2. Completely engage operating cable with deflection roller -1-.

3. Engage the operating cable at the side -arrow A- and then the cable nipple from above -arrow B- into the bracket.

4. First engage the operating cable at the side -arrow A- and then the cable sleeve from above -arrow B- into the guide.

5. Plug in electric plug connection on the motor for lumbar curvature -arrow- until the lock engages securely.

Subsequent work
