Information

Fastening grommets on the locking mechanism for the padding on the seat frame will be damaged irreparably during removal. Always replace the fastening grommets during installation.

1. Pierce the fastening grommets -1- on the underside of the seat frame -2- with a screwdriver so that the locking mechanism no longer locks.

2. Unclip the retaining eyelets -1- on the padding -2- with a strong upward jerk -arrows- at the front to remove them from the brackets -3-.

3. Release the existing electric plug connections -1, 2- ( -a, b- ) and pull them off -A, B-.

4. Remove the padding for the 2/3-split folding rear seat together with the wire harness.

1. Plug in existing electric plug connections -1, 2- for the 2/3-split folding seat -A, B- and lock them -a, b-.

Information

2. Fit new fastening grommets -3-.

3. Position the padding -2- for the 2/3-split folding rear seat.
Check that the padding and the carpet inlay around the belt locks are seated correctly.
4. Clip in the retaining eyelets -1- on the padding -2- at the front by pressing them down firmly -arrows- into the fastening grommets -3-.
The retaining eyelets must engage securely in the fastening grommets.
