Preliminary work

Replacing halogen bulb

NOTICE

Incorrect handling of bulbs

- Risk of damage to bulbs and the bulb housing

-> Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
-> Switch off the relevant loads when changing bulbs.
-> Only use bulbs listed in the bulb table.
-> Only install clean bulbs that are free of grease.
-> Always use a cloth or soft paper when working with bulbs.
-> Observe the safety instructions when changing a bulb in a Bi-Xenon headlight.
-> In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.





Installation position of halogen bulb

1. Release cover flap -A- and open it -B-.

2. Unscrew two fastening screws -1-.





Removing halogen bulb

3. Release bulb socket by turning it -A- and remove the bulb -B-.
4. Unplug electric plug connection -A-.





Pulling out bulb

5. Remove support plate from bulb -B-.
6. The bulb is installed in reverse order to removal.

Subsequent work
