Checking engine-oil level

NOTICE

Incorrect oil level

- Risk of damage to engine or catalytic converter

-> Check the oil level regularly.
-> The oil level must not fall below the Minimum marking or rise above the Maximum marking.
-> Only use approved engine oils.

Information

Requirements for oil level measurement using the instrument cluster:

- Vehicle must be standing horizontally

- Oil temperature 80°. 100°

- Engine off

- Ignition on

- Wait two minutes after opening the engine compartment lid

1. Select the Oil level function in the multi-function display.
1.1. Select Vehicle in the main menu, then select Oil level and confirm your selection.
2. Check the engine-oil level on the segment display and top up engine oil if necessary.
2.1. The segment display is green if the engine-oil level is between the Min and Max markings.
- Maximum engine-oil level => Maximum engine-oil level , segments are green.





Maximum engine-oil level

- Minimum engine-oil level => Minimum engine-oil level , lowest segment is yellow.





Minimum engine-oil level

- Engine-oil level too low => Engine-oil level too low , lowest segment is red.





Engine-oil level too low

- Engine-oil level too high => Engine-oil level too high , all segments are red.

3. Refill quantity:
- The difference between the Min and Max markings is approx. 1 litre

- One segment of the display corresponds to approx. 0.25 liters
