Information:

Customers complain that engine oil consumption is too high.

If the customer complains that the engine oil consumption is too high, the rate of oil consumption should be determined.

To determine the rate of oil consumption, ask the customer during vehicle check-in whether the engine oil was topped up and if so, how much engine oil was added, and at what mileage.

In order to fully address this customer complaint, the following procedures must be completed as they appear in this bulletin. Please read the entire bulletin thoroughly before starting these work procedures.
