Measuring engine-oil level

Information:
Different procedure for measuring engine-oil level

The procedure for measuring the engine-oil level on Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo vehicles has been changed.

From now on, the oil level must no longer be measured using the instrument cluster as described previously, but only by measuring the oil level manually using PIWIS Tester II in accordance with the instructions in -> 170101 Checking engine-oil level using the PIWIS Tester.

When interpreting the measured values displayed on PIWIS Tester II, type of oil level sensor installed in the vehicle and the vehicle type (Cayenne S or Cayenne Turbo) must be taken into consideration as described in the Workshop Manual.

Information:

The procedure for measuring the engine-oil level using PIWIS Tester II is currently being optimized. As soon as the new measuring procedure has been integrated in PIWIS Tester II, we will inform you immediately.
