The front end of the Panamera S and 4S, together with the integrated cooling-air intakes, are painted in the exterior colour. While the Panamera S is characterized by black double vents in the side air intakes in the front end of the vehicle, the all-wheel-drive Panamera 4S model can be identified by its titanium-colored double vents. The Panamera Turbo has a completely distinctive front section. The air intakes of the turbo-specific vehicle front, designed in a grille structure, convey an even more powerful and dynamic appearance.

- In the Panamera Turbo, the charge air cooler is located behind the side air intakes. The charge air cooler receives additional cooling air from the center air intake, which features bypass ducts. Another optimized detail is the adaptive cruise control feature whose sensor in the center air intake has been designed in such a way that it does not affect the supply of cooling air.
- The naturally aspirated engine obtains the required intake air through the underbody.
