Diagnosis information - Control unit DME (DFI)

Fault Switch-off time

Diagnostic conditions
- Engine running
- then Switch off ignition
- immediately afterward Ignition on > 10 Minute(s) , at:
= Instrument cluster ready for operation
- No fault entry P1570

Possible fault causes
- The power supply of the DME (DFI) control unit was interrupted during control unit run-on (See P1572)
- Incorrect software version Control unit DME (DFI)
- Incorrect software version Gateway control module
- Incorrect software version Instrument cluster
- Fault in area CAN drive or CAN comfort
- Instrument cluster failed or Faulty

Fault setting condition(s)
- The power supply of the DME (DFI) control unit was interrupted during control unit run-on.
or
- No or implausible time pulse from the gateway control unit within 60 seconds. at:
- Ignition on

INFORMATION
The DME control unit receives time information from the gateway control unit at regular intervals when the ignition is on. (approx. 4 Second(s))
