Cowl Moulding / Trim: Service and Repair

WM 664419 Removing and installing cowl panel cover

Preliminary work

1. Remove rear profile seal for front lid. -> 553319 Removing and installing seal for front lid - section on "Removing"
2. Remove both wiper arms. -> 922519 Removing and installing wiper arm - section on "Removing"

Removing cowl panel cover

1. Lift up the left cover flap -A- and unclip it towards the front -B-.

2. Lift up the right cover flap -A- and unclip it towards the front -B-.

3. Lift up the cowl panel cover -1- at the sides using a plastic wedge -arrow- and unclip it from the retaining strip -2-.

Installing cowl panel cover

The cowl panel cover is installed in reverse order to removal.

Subsequent work

1. Install both wiper arms. -> 922519 Removing and installing wiper arm - section on "Installing"
2. Install rear profile seal for front lid. -> 553319 Removing and installing seal for front lid - section on "Installing"
