Diagnosis information - Control unit DME (DFI)

Fuel high-pressure implausible

INFORMATION
- Faults in the fuel high-pressure injection system are often caused by defects in the preFaults predelivery system (fuel low pressure).
- Therefore, if there are problems in the fuel high-pressure injection area, the predelivery circuit must be checked first.

Diagnostic conditions
- Period since engine was started greater than 5 Second(s)
- Engine temperature 10 ... +100 °C (°F)
- Engine running/Driving

Possible fault causes (See Fault setting condition(s))
- Below limit:
- Pre-delivery quantity or pressure in fuel low-pressure circuit too low
- Fuel tank (driven) empty
- See Extended fault memory
-->Actual value 40_Fuel Level Input [0%]

- Below limit or Limit exceeded exceeded:
- Quantity control valve Faulty (in Fuel high-pressure pump)
- Fuel high-pressure pump Faulty

Fault setting condition(s) (See[Information])

- Below limit:
- Fuel high-pressure average permanent less than 10 bar

- Limit exceeded exceeded:
- Fuel high-pressure average permanent greater than 135 bar

INFORMATION
- See Extended fault memory
-->Environmental condition 4 for first fault occurrence (Fuel high-pressure actual value)
-->Environmental condition 5 for first fault occurrence (Fuel high-pressure Nominal value)

Conversion:
- 10,000 hPa = 10 bar = 10,000 mbar
- 1000 kPa = 10 bar = 10,000 mbar
- 1MPa = 10 bar = 10,000 mbar
