- Driving with Partial load
- greater than 5 Minute(s)
- Engine speed 1250 ... 3000 1/min
- Mass airflow 180 ... 500 mg/stroke

- then Idle speed
- greater than 2 Minute(s)
- Engine speed 500 ... 1000 1/min
- Mass airflow 90 ... 250 mg/stroke

Possible fault causes
- Injection valve Faulty or Borderline
(opens too late / not long enough / not enough or leaks)
- Bar ignition module Faulty
- Compression too low
(e.g. Cylinder lining damaged, Valve-seat ring Faulty ...)
- Valve lifter Faulty
(Intake valve has not switched to the other lift or has not switched quickly enough)

Fault setting condition(s)
- Diagnosis detects uneven running for the specified cylinder.
- Uneven running is calculated from the expected and actual crankshaft acceleration due to combustion.
- Uneven running is interpreted as a misfire or valve lift fault, depending on type.
