A/T - Non-Serviceable Clutch Packs
SIL 85 - 18SUBJECT: RENAULT
On the Renault Alliance and Encore model MB transaxle, the assembly that contains the E1 and # 2 clutch packs cannot be serviced separately. These clutches correspond to what we call the forward and direct clutches on other units. Currently the parts are only available through the dealerships or through some parts suppliers.
The unit can be separated by bending the stakes out. Trying to restake has not been successful.
