PHASE-IN PAINT INFORMATION

1984 Jeep Vehicles

Two new paint colors, Green Metallic Clearcoat (Code 5B) and Charcoal Metallic Clearcoat (Code 4M), were phased into production of 1984 Jeep vehicles during late March of this year. Nordic Green paint (Code 4H) was phased-out at the same time.

Factory package codes for Charcoal Metallic paint are listed on page 3 of M.R. 171 I.S. Note 9E. Factory package codes for Green Metallic paint are listed below.

NOTE: Only factory package paints are recommended for spot and single panel repairs.

1984 Alliance/Encore Vehicles

Classic Black Clearcoat paint (Code PI) has been phased into production of 1984 Alliance/Encore vehicles. Deep Night Blue paint (Code 2D) has been phased-out.

The factory package codes for Classic Black paint are listed on page 3 of M.R. 171 I.S. Note 9E.

General

In addition to Classic Black paint becoming available as a clearcoat paint, the following 1984 Alliance/Encore/Jeep paints are also available as clearcoat paints.

Sebring Red - Code 3B
Nordic Green - Code 4H
White - Code 9B
