Caster Adjustment

Check caster angle with vehicle unloaded and ride height within specifications. Caster angle should be +/12° to +2° and maximum variation between right and left side settings should not exceed 3/4°.
Caster angle is not adjustable. The most common causes for incorrect caster angle are damaged suspension arm or side sill, damaged front end sheet metal particularly in strut tower area, and damaged steering knuckle or strut. If caster angle is incorrect, loosen top strut mounting nut and rotate strut shaft. If caster angle changes, strut shaft is bent.
