BATTERY CABLE MODIFICATION FOR PARIS RHONE STARTER


Information

Alliance/Encore models built between sequence numbers W76499 and W76787, were equipped with a Paris Rhone starter.

Because these starters have a buss bar on the solenoid, the anti-turn tab on the battery cables used in production were modified to prevent contacting the buss bar.



If battery cable replacement becomes necessary on a model equipped with a Paris Rhone starter, remove or straighten the anti-turn tab as shown in the illustration, before installing the new cable.
