VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER AND CODE PLATE REVISIONS

Information

This I.S. Note contains revised Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and vehicle code plate information for Alliance/Encore models.

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Revision

The second alpha character of the VIN on page A-4 indicating who the vehicle was built by is incorrect.

Change the second VIN character on page A-4 to the letter X (letter A was not used for 1984 models).

Vehicle Code Plate Revisions

Revise the code plate information on page N-6 of your M.R. 248 to read as follows:
