Caster angle on these vehicles is dependent on the angle of the vehicle floor in relation to the ground. To determine correct caster angle, measure front and rear ride height as outlined, calculate and record the difference between measurements and check and adjust caster as follows:

1. Check caster angle with vehicle unloaded and compare to specifications, Fig. 4.
2. If caster is not within specifications, remove bolt securing strut rod to upper control arm and adjust rod length to alter setting. One full turn of rod will alter caster angle by 1/4°.
3. Reconnect strut rod, and recheck caster angle, repeating adjustment until caster is within specifications shown in Fig. 4, ensuring that maximum variation between right and left side settings does not exceed 1°.
4. When caster angle is within specifications, tighten strut rod locknut and torque mounting bolt to 59 ft.lbs.
