Throttle Body Assembly

Fig. 8 Replacing throttle body:

1. Remove throttle cable and return spring.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from injector (1), Fig. 8.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from WOT (2).
4. Disconnect electrical connector from ISC (3).
5. Disconnect fuel supply pipe (6) from throttle body.
6. Disconnect fuel return pipe (5) from throttle body.
7. Disconnect vacuum hoses from throttle body, noting correct locations for installation.
8. Remove throttle body to manifold retaining nuts (4).
9. Remove throttle body assembly from intake manifold.
10. If throttle body is being replaced, transfer ISC and WOT and bracket to new throttle body.
11. Reverse procedure to install, using new gasket.
