Connecting Rod: Service and Repair

These engines use cylinder blocks with integral non-replaceable liners.

The piston tops are marked with an arrow and/or a ``V.'' The marks must point towards the flywheel/flexplate after installation.

To install rods-to-pistons, install rods so end cap locating dowels are on opposite side of piston identification arrow and/or ``V.''
