Renix Throttle Body Fuel Injection (TBFI), Late Type System


1. Remove control unit from vehicle if it will be exposed to temperature of 175°F or higher.
2. Never start engine when battery connections are loose.
3. Never start engine when a battery fast charge is attached to engine.
4. Always disconnect battery terminals from battery when using a booster-charger to charge battery.
5. Never start any diagnosis or repair of fuel injection system unless ignition system has been thoroughly checked.
6. Whenever using ohmmeter, make sure ignition switch is in ``Off'' position. Ohmmeter may be damaged if subjected to live circuit.
7. Before attempting to troubleshoot system, ensure that there are no air leaks in intake or exhaust systems above catalytic converter.
8. Never connect or disconnect any component without turning off ignition switch.
