Heater Fan Speed Control - 9000

On 9000 models with ACC, if the fan speed should go to full high and you cannot control it manually, the fan speed control unit must be replaced. It is not repairable. Upon installation of the new unit, please note the following:

^ Make sure the cooling fins of the speed control unit do not touch the evaporator or anything metal when installed.

^ Ensure the ground circuit through the cable harness is good. Voltage spikes can damage the transistorized circuit and render the unit inoperative.
