For your reference and information, listed below are the paint codes for the 1987 Saab 900 models with cross-references for several domestic aftermarket suppliers of paint.

Paint codes for 1987 models can be found on the central beam inside the rear trunk.

NOTES:

1. Metallic colors have new codes for 1987 because the ratio of solids to solvent in the Factory finish has been changed to reduce atmospheric pollution. Color tint is slightly affected.

2. The suffix letter in the Saab code indicates the primary supplier to the assembly plant. This is subject to change during the model year.

3. For refinishing work, always use color and thinning materials from the same manufacturer for best results.
