4/22320
Fault Code 4/22320Note: If communication with ISAT cannot be established, check whether the +30 supply to the ECU (fuse, relay, leads) is live. Also check that the ECU earth connection is OK.
Malfunction indicated
No +15 supply on pin 25 when ignition pulses detected.
Fault symptom
The car goes into Limp Home mode. The TCS CTRL lamp lights up.
Test procedure
1 Check that the EDU is working.
If not, check fuse 13.
2 With the ECU plugged in and the engine ticking over, use the BOB to check that battery voltage is supplied to pin 25.
If it is not, check the GN/WH lead between ECU pin 25 and fuse 13 for continuity.
3 Check that the ECU's earth connection to the engine earthing point is OK.
4 By means of the SAT's PULSE function, check that the signal on pin 12 (about 30-200 Hz) disappears immediately the ignition is switched off.
5 If all the above tests check out OK and no other fault codes occur, clear the fault code and drive the car to see whether it is generated afresh.
If it is, try fitting an ETS control unit that is known to be OK.
