Fault Code 4/25292





Malfunction indicated
Discrepancy between signals in the throttle and pedal potentiometers.

Fault symptom
No noticeable fault symptom.

Test procedure

If the TCS CTRL lamp is on and the car goes into Limp Home mode, check whether any fault codes have been generated which can be traced to the ETS system.
If any such fault exists it should be dealt with first. If not continue as follows:

1 Check the voltages in the table below.







2 Check the leads in the wiring between the ASA and ETS control units for continuity or shorting.

3 If the leads and contacts are OK, clear the fault code and drive the car on test. If the fault code is generated afresh, try an ASR control unit which is known to be good.
