KDW Actuator Motor
KDW Actuator MotorTo remove
1 Remove the clip and disconnect the wire from the motor lever.
2 Unplug the connector from the motor.
3 Slacken the three retaining bolts. Remove the motor by lifting it diagonally rearwards towards the bulkhead partition. Note the shape of the retaining holes in the bracket, see Fig. above.
To fit
1 Refit the motor to the bracket in the reverse order as described in point 3 under "To remove" above. Tighten the three retaining bolts.
2 Plug the connector into the motor.
3 Connect the wire to the motor lever and fit the retaining clip. The lever should be fully "with-drawn" against the stop (rest position without wire). This position should be retained in points 4 and 5.
4 Pull the Kick-Down-Wire's sheathing past the KD position to the stop in the transmission.
5 Fix the wire sheathing in the clamp on the motor bracket. Note that the withdrawn length of wire must be maintained unchanged.
6 Use an ISAT instrument to calibrate the actuator motor. Calibration of TCS
