Installation









1. Clean the sealing surfaces and install the coolant pump in the pump housing using a new gasket.
2. Install the belt pulley. Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ft. lbs.).
3. Lubricate the new O-rings with acid-free petroleum jelly and install the sleeve together with the coolant pump. Do up the bolts.
4. Raise the car and install the coolant pipe to the pump.
5. Lower the car and attach the coolant pipe to the turbocharger.
6. Attach the oxygen sensor cable with clips.
7. Connect the hoses to the coolant pump.
8. Install the A/C compressor bracket, install the A/C compressor and connect it.
9. Remove the protectors from the upper radiator crossmember and the engine oil cooler.
10. Install the multigroove belt, pull on it hard and remove the locking pin. Check that the belt is properly positioned on all the pulleys.
11. Connect the engine coolant level sensor and install the lower coolant hose to the expansion tank.
12. Install the expansion tank by pressing it into position.
13. Raise the car, check that the radiator drain plug is tightened and install the center air deflector.
14. Fill with coolant and test pressurize the cooling system.
