Oil Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.





2. Undo the crankshaft-sensor bolts and swivel it out of the way.
3. Remove the idler-wheel pulley.





4. Undo the pump securing bolts. Lift off the pump taking care not to lose the spring.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the spring and, using the guide pins, lift the pump into position.
2. Install and tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (5.9 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the idler-wheel pulley.
4. Install the crankshaft sensor.
5. Install the crankshaft pulley and tighten bolt to 190 Nm (140 ft. lbs.).
