Fault Code 4/25723





Malfunction indicated
Brake signal from TC/ABS faulty or absent.

Fault symptom
Car runs on basic boost pressure only.

Test procedure

1 Check whether other fault codes have been generated (e.g. 24020, 24021 or 24090). If so, deal with them first.

2 If there are no other fault codes in the ETS system, carry out fault tracing on the TC/ABS system. If no faults can be found there either, clear the fault code and drive the car to see whether it is generated afresh. If it is, try fitting an ETS control unit that is known to be OK.
