Vacuum Check Valve: Service and Repair

To Remove
1. Unplug the radiator fan's connector and remove the three retaining bolts. Then lift away the fan cowl.
2. Drape wing covers in place to protect the radiator member and radiator.
3. Remove the hose.
4. Remove the valve.

To Check
Check that the valve does not allow exhaust gases to escape.

To Fit
Fit in reverse order.

Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 ft lbs).

NOTE: The valve has conical pipe threads.
