FAULT SYMPTOM
- No manual downshift.
- No engine braking.

ACTION

NOTE: Fill in the test form. When returning items, the test form should be included.

1. Select symptom.
Choose between the following symptoms.
- No manual downshift:
Proceed to point 2.
- No engine braking:
Brake band C' damaged.
Change and adjust brake band.
Check O-rings on servo plunger for brake C'.
2. No manual downshift.
Investigate following causes.
- Governor seizing:
Clean or change the governor.
- Lock-up valve 2 seizing:
Check lock-up valve 2 in valve body.
- Ball valve seizing:
Check the ball valve for throttle pressure 2-3 in valve body.
