Muffler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Unscrew the connecting flange against the exhaust pipe.
2. Unhook the rubber hanger from the rear mounting.
3. Unhook the intermediate silencer mounting and lower the pipe.
4. Lift down the silencer.

INSTALLATION
1. Lift up the new silencer and hook in the rear mounting.
2. Hang up the intermediate silencer rubber hanger.
3. Do up the bolts on the connecting flange. Make sure that there is clearance to nearby components.
