Reverse Gear

The reverse gear has its own lubrication system. 1st pinion splashes oil up into a collecting pocket in the wall of the clutch housing. The oil is guided into the collecting pocket by an oil guidance plate on the reversing gear lever. From the collecting pocket the oil is transported through the reverse gear shaft and out through the shaft's three radial oil lubrication holes. In this way the reverse gear's teflon bushes, axial bearing, synchronizing and brass bushing are lubricated.
