- Engine cannot be started.
- Car driven forward/backwards when selector lever is in position N.

Fault in starting interlock switch
Check and, if necessary, change the starting interlock switch.
- Car driven forward/backwards when selector lever is in position N:
Selector lever control or cable is incorrectly adjusted.
Check and, if necessary, adjust.
