ABS With ESP and TCS

C1390 Wheel Sensor. Wrong Number of Teeth





Fault symptoms
Warning lamps for ESP, foot brake and central warning lamp are on.
ESP OFF indicator lamp is on.
No ESP function.

Conditions
The respective wheel speed value is compared with a reference value (=the filtered mean speed of all four wheels).
^ One wheel speed 25% higher than the reference speed for 20 seconds.
^ Two wheel speeds 6% higher than the reference speed for 80 seconds.
^ One wheel speed <6% lower than the reference speed for 20 seconds, or two wheel speeds for 10 seconds.
^ Continuous ABS modulation for more than 60 seconds.

Diagnostic help
^ The respective wheel speed sensor signal can be read using the diagnostic tool.
- Select "Read values".
- Select: "Wheel speed".

Current wheel speed in km/h (mph) is displayed.
