The headlamp is comprised of the following components:
- Left main beam lamp (11FL)
- Right main beam lamp (11FR)
- Left dipped beam lamp (12FL)
- Right dipped beam lamp (12FR)
- Front left parking light (13FL)
- Front right parking light (13FL)
- Front left direction indicator (27FL)
- Front right direction indicator (27FR)
- Lefthand headlamp levelling motor (280FL)
- Righthand headlamp levelling motor (280FR)

Main task
The task of the headlamps is to provide main beam, dipped beam, parking lights and direction indicators to the front of the car and to regulate beam length with a stepper motor.

Type
The headlamp housing contains bulbs for direction indicator, dipped beam, main beam, and parking light as well as a stepper motor for headlamp levelling. The light sources are protected by one clear plastic lens.

There is a screen in front of the dipped beam bulb, the position of which can be adjusted with a knob to change the dipped beam light image between right-hand and left-hand traffic.

The direction indicator is located out along the long side of the car. It consists of a 21 W ambercoloured bulb and a reflector.

A projector headlamp is positioned in the middle. It has an aperture diameter of 70 mm. The projector headlamp is used for dipped beam. The bulb is of the type H7 55 W (US/CA/MX: H11 55 W).

Another headlamp is located further in toward the centre of the car. This headlamp is used for main beam and main beam flash. The bulb is of the type H9 65 W.

The upper part of the lamp contains an LED, which is used for the parking lights.

A small electric motor with corresponding electronics for manual headlamp levelling is integrated in each headlamp.
