CV: The seatbelt system comprises two seatbelts integrated in the front seats and two rear seatbelts. All belts are of the three-point variety. All seatbelts have belt pretensioners. The belt pretensioners tension the belt straps in the event of a collision, which reduces the forward movement of the body.

The driver receives a seat-belt warning in the SID (Saab Information Display) which monitors seat-belt locking. The passenger receives a seat-belt warning in the switch panel.
