Main task
Is used for general roof lighting.

Type
The roof light is switched on either manually or automatically (the doors control the switching on/off). A lamp and a switch are built into the roof lighting unit. The switch (53) is a toggle switch with just one position. The inner lighting is alternately switched on/off with each subsequent press of the button.

Connection
The lamps are grounded with PWM from BCM. Power is supplied to the lamps from a relay controlled by the BCM. The BCM senses the supply to determine whether the relay is activated.
