Rear Fog Light







Fault symptoms

Rear fog light malfunction.

"Fog light failure" is displayed on SID.

Condition

The control module output is monitored and a DTC generated if there is a:
- Open/short circuit to B+.
- Short to ground.

DTCs are not generated if the voltage is below 11 V or during diagnostic communication.

Diagnostic help

The output from the DICE control module can be activated with the diagnostic tool. Note that DTCs are generated even if the power supply from pin 48 of the control module should be absent.

A DTC can be generated if a lamp with incorrect rating is fitted.

IMPORTANT: The DICE control module can be damaged if a lamp with incorrect rating is fitted.
