Fault symptom

Interior lighting does not work.












Conditions

The output is provided with overload protection which shuts it off in the event of an excessive load. When this occurs, a diagnostic trouble code will be generated.

DTCs are not generated if the voltage is below 11 V and the diagnostic communication is in use.

Diagnostic help

Check that the wattage of the bulbs is correct.
If bulbs of too high a wattage are fitted, DTC B1215 can be generated.
To reset the overload protection, turn the ignition key to OFF and then back to ON.

IMPORTANT: The DICE control module can be damaged if a bulb of the wrong wattage is fitted.
