Fault symptoms

Parking heater does not work.

Type of diagnosis

Continuous

Enable criteria

Control module output active (parking heater in operation).

Fault criteria

Circuit/control module output shorted to ground.

Diagnostic help

The parking heater can be activated with the diagnostic tool.
Parking heater can be programmed.

Checking the wiring harness

Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, withdrawn pins and pin clamping force.
