Accelerator Pedal Position. Error message from ECM

Fault symptoms
CHECK GEARBOX warning lamp is on.

TCM in Limp-Home mode.

Conditions
Engine running.

Fault criteria
TCM receives information on the current accelerator pedal position on the bus from ECM. If ECM sends a message saying this information is incorrect, DTC P1820 will be generated.

Diagnostic help
This diagnostic trouble code indicates a fault in the ECM. Refer to fault diagnosis for the engine management system in question.
