Electrically Controlled Seat Cannot Be Operated When The Passenger Door Is Opened







Fault symptoms

The seat cannot be operated when the front passenger door is opened and the ignition is off.

Probable cause of fault

Faulty door contact or faulty lead from door contact to TWICE.

Check the wiring

Move the wiring harness at several locations and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the check.
